Presenting ... The people who walked in darkness (waag_aa002_4) by Stephen Briggs
“The people who walked in darkness (waag_aa002_4)” is the fourth piece by Stephen Briggs that makes up this second “Ambient Advent” collection and with it comes a fifth track, a bonus track, that was simply too good not to include.
Both “The people who walked in darkness have seen a great light” and “Light and life to all he brings” are designed for contemplation and meditation during what has become a very busy period.
Regardless how you celebrate this period, I hope these pieces will give you a sense of peace. Please create a playlist with all five tracks and take some time out to consider how you can bring light to the dark corners of this world.
A 320kbps version of this release will be available on Archive for free with a lossless version available on Bandcamp for ‘pay what you want’ which does include ‘free’. Any monies raised from this track will be donated to charity … more details to follow.

Presenting ... Let your heart take courage (waag_aa002_3) by Stephen Briggs
“Let your heart take courage (waag_aa002_3)” is the third of four pieces by Stephen Briggs that are intended for the season of Advent.
Courage is the quality of mind or spirit that enables a person to face difficulty, danger, pain, and the like without fear; It is a quality we need desperately today when we consider all that is happening in our beautiful world. The terrorists and the warmongers want us to fear and every Star Wars fan knows that fear is the path to the dark side:
Fear leads to anger. Anger leads to hate. Hate leads to suffering.
We need the courage to live without fear … and for us to have courage, we need hope. The time of Advent is all about hope: the hope of a new day.
The four soundscapes that will make up this second “Ambient Advent” collection are designed for contemplation and meditation during what has become a very busy period.
Regardless how you celebrate this period, I hope this piece will give you a sense of peace.
A 320kbps version of this release will be available over on Archive for free with a lossless version available on Bandcamp for ‘pay what you want’ which does include ‘free’. Any monies raised from this track will be donated to charity … more details to follow.

Presenting ... Ambient Advent 2015: "We Wait For The Light (waag_aa002_12)" by Stephen Briggs
“We wait for the light (waag_aa002_2)” is the second of four pieces by Stephen Briggs that are intended for the season of Advent.
Darker than the previous soundscape, “We wait for the light” is all about anticipation … of waiting and watching … of wondering about the future.

Interplanetary Blues (waag_rel079) by Cousin Silas & Kevin Lyons
The collaboration of Cousin Silas and Kevin Lyons is an inspired one … fuelled by a shared love of pulp sci-fi and leftfield music. It is a partnership that I cannot get enough of.
“Interplanetary Blues (waag_rel079)” is a remarkable release: expressive, engaging and wonderfully atmospheric; it is my kind of experimental ambient electronic music. Yes … at times there are beats but they add to the overall whole of the album.
This album has become the soundtrack to my life and has accompanied me on a number of journeys both into and out of Glasgow. It just fits.
The artwork, kindly provided by Andreas Schwietzke, also fits. He his the silent party in this partnership, inspiring the chaps with his otherworldly artwork. Schwietzke is our Roger Dean and we are all grateful for that.
I am delighted to support the partnership of Cousin Silas and Kevin Lyons, and proud to release their latest album on weareallghosts. I hope you will enjoy what they have prepared as much as I do.
A 320kbps version of this release will be available over on Archive for free with a lossless version available on Bandcamp for ‘pay what you want’ which does include ‘free’. If you decide to download this album here for free, and you can with our best wishes, then all we ask is that you please tell people about it.
