Presenting ... Cousin Silas and Friends vol. 5 (waag_rel088)

The idea of collaboration has negative connotations as does compromise … but something truly beautiful can be born from working together, sharing a vision and journeying on the road of creation with one or two close friends. This is evidenced here, on this the fifth volume of collaborations from Cousin Silas and his friends.

Over 5 CDs worth of music … 800+ mb of data if you choose 320kbps MP3 files … Cousin Silas and Friends vol 5 (waag_rel088) is a hefty celebration of truly independent ambient electronic music. It is also a celebration of Dave Hughes, the man behind Cousin Silas, and the friendships he cherishes.

Dave is truly a people person and people gravitate towards his cheeky banter and irrepressible optimism. I am proud to call him a friend and delighted to release this album on weareallghosts. I also greatly appreciate his ongoing support … waag wouldn’t exist without him.

A 320kbps version of this release will be available over on Archive for free with a lossless version available on Bandcamp for ‘pay what you want’.

It is important to note that weareallghosts is funded through the donations we receive for albums such as this. To help us to continue to put out this level of quality in the quantity that we do then please donate.

Ask yourself, how much would you realistically pay for a CD? … and you are getting the equivalent of five in this one release!

Presenting ... “Unstable Lands (waag_rel087)” by Brother Saturn

“Unstable Lands (waag_rel087)” is the latest release from Drew Miller aka Brother Saturn. It features a deeper, more immersive electronic sound that feeds the imagination … a sound that is less drone-based and more melodic with loops playfully interacting with one another to create dense, otherworldly layers of sound.

This is an album to lose yourself in … and to help you do this, each track features wonderful artwork from Smashy that will help guide your thoughts, if you want to, to places and space off the beaten track.

I hope you enjoy this piece as much as I have.

A 320kbps version of this release will be available on Archive for free with a lossless version available over on Bandcamp for ‘pay what you want’ which does include ‘free’. If you decide to download this album here for free, and you can with our best wishes, then all we ask is that you please tell people about it.
